Odd growths on a tree leaf. Don’t know what the tree is or what these things are but the look weird and parasitic

EEk and Crikey. One of my earliest Dr Who Memories was The Green Death it bloody terrified me as a (I guess about) five year old. I was therefore a little reticent to go home yesterday as my wife warned me about these beasts.
